22ct Fancy Yellow Diamond Set to Headline Heritage Auction

A Pragnell ring featuring a striking 22.09-carat diamond is expected to be one of the highlights of Heritage’s upcoming auction, with an estimated value of as much as $250,000.

At the heart of the ring is a cushion-cut fancy-yellow diamond, complemented by 1.33 carats of French- and carré-cut diamonds set along the band. Heritage said Tuesday that the piece will be among the featured lots at its September 28 Fall Fine Jewelry Signature Auction.

More than 470 pieces will be offered in the sale, including fine jewelry from prominent names such as Oscar Heyman, David Webb and Cartier.

An Oscar Heyman ring featuring a 14.11-carat rectangular fancy-yellow diamond with VVS2 clarity, flanked by two triangular-cut diamonds weighing 2.09 and 2.24 carats.

An unmounted 7.01-carat round brilliant-cut diamond, graded F color and SI1 clarity.

Estimate: $100,000–$120,000

A ring centered on a 7.02-carat oval-cut diamond, graded D color and SI1 clarity, accented by full-cut diamonds along the band.
